This Privacy Policy governs the use of the Folder MP3 Player & 3D Visualizer mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") developed for Android devices.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This App is designed as a secure, offline-first utility. This policy outlines how we handle your device information and permissions.

1. Information Collection and Use

• No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, request, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
• No Tracking or Analytics: The App does not contain third-party tracking, analytics SDKs (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics), or advertisement networks.
• Completely Offline Operations: The App does not request or require Internet permission (android.permission.INTERNET). Because there is no network access, the App is incapable of transmitting any data from your device to external servers.

2. Device Permissions and How They Are Used

To provide local music playback and real-time visual equalizers, the App requests two standard Android permissions. We use these permissions strictly for their intended local functions:

A. Read External Storage (android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)

• Purpose: This permission is used exclusively to scan, locate, and read local audio files (.mp3) stored in your chosen directories, external SD cards, or connected USB drives.
• Data Handling: The App only reads audio file metadata (Title, Artist, Album, and Cover Art) to display them in your local playback list. None of this data is stored outside your private application cache directory or shared with any third party.

B. Record Audio (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO)

• Purpose: This is a sensitive permission required by Android's native android.media.audiofx.Visualizer framework to capture active, real-time audio output frequencies (FFT data).
• Data Handling: We do not use this permission to record your voice, private conversations, or ambient microphone audio. The permission is used solely as a digital bridge to capture the frequency amplitudes of the music playing inside the App to animate the graphic visualizer waves. No audio is ever recorded, saved to disk, or compiled.

3. Third-Party Services

This App does not utilize any third-party APIs, web services, or cloud integrations. All processes (from scanning folders to rendering 3D visual graphics) are executed entirely on your local device.

4. Children’s Privacy

Because our App does not collect any personal data, track user behavior, or connect to the internet, it complies with child privacy protection regulations (including COPPA and GDPR) and is intended to be safe for users of all ages.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the App is offline and cannot push notifications, we recommend reviewing this policy page periodically on the Google Play Store for any changes.
